So it’s homemade week over on Aussie Curves this week and I’m so excited!
I had a few options this time around, but I finally decided on this lace skirt I made over the summer.
I had been given this beautiful piece of guipure lace from a friend and it sat untouched for months because I wasn’t sure what to use it on. It was such a lovely piece of lace and I’m so glad I used it in this skirt.

It’s just a super simple circle skirt with a waistband but I love how light and breezy it is and how the lace is so delicate and ladylike.
Also, HOW HAVE I NOT FEATURED THIS JUMPER ON THE BLOG BEFORE? I have been living in this Pug face jumper since my beautiful boyfriend bought it for me for my birthday in June. You can even see some marks on it but I refuse to put it in the wash because I just want to wear it all the time. Obsessed.

I’m definitely a girly-girl at heart, I’ve spoken about it about on the blog before, but as much as I love modern styles and tailoring and draping, there’s always something about a good skater skirt and ladylike bag. Give me a prom dress and a chiffon overlay anyday.
