On Sunday my handsome, lovely and tolerant boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary, and since we had only just moved to Melbourne, decided to check into a lovely hotel for a few nights and just relax.
It was just what we needed, a few nights away from unpacking and battling our new (old) kitchen, to eating out every night at beautiful restaurants, sleeping in without having to worry about hitting that snooze alarm for 10 more minutes before quickly getting ready for work and getting to know our new city a little more.
I found this slightly crazy shift dress whilst thrifting and instantly adored it. I’m about 99% sure it was made for a 60’s party costume, but I really could not care less.
I’m sorry, did you say gigantic bell sleeves with dogstooth lining? UHM, yes please. It was a complete no brainer.
It was perfect for our anniversary dinner at the marvellous Henry & The Fox on Collins St, making sure to snap a few shots in the lane outside our hotel before heading out.
